Oregon’s exemptions would seem to be limited to residents by
the language of the statute. “Nothing in this section shall affect
the exemptions given to residents of this state by the
Constitution of the State of Oregon and the Oregon Revised
Statutes. “ Or. Rev. Stat. § 18.300. However, case law
indicates otherwise. Bond v. Turner, 33 Or. 551, 54 P.158
(1898); In re Stratton, 269 B.R.716 (Bankr.D.Or.2001).
