Arizona has opted out of the federal exemptions for residents.
“[R]esidents of this state are not entitled to the federal
exemptions provided in 11 U.S.C. 522 (d).” Ariz. Rev. Stat.
Ann. § 33-1133(B). Nonresidents may, therefore, use the
federal exemptions. Support.
