New Hampshire has not opted out of the federal exemptions. In
re Vaillancourt, 260 B.R. 66 (Bankr.N.H.2001) (as a result of
New Hampshire's repeal of its opt-out statute, debtors may
claim the federal exemptions). So, if it is the applicable state
(as determined by the method stated on the home page of this
site), the federal exemptions may be used regardless of the
debtor's state of residence on the date of filing bankruptcy.
